Brief History of the Drop Ship Directory
Our Founder and CEO, Chris Malta, wanted to start an online store in the early 90’s. He found that it was difficult to locate wholesale suppliers that were willing to dropship products and work with online retailers. Selling products online was still a fairly new concept at the time!
After locating and calling many wholesale companies, he created his own list of suppliers that he could work with and supply his store with wholesale products so he didn’t have to hold inventory. After writing an article online about his frustrations for finding dropshipping wholesalers to work with, he was approached by other retailers that wanted his list, and that is how the Drop Ship Source Directory was started.
